INS is pleased to announce that the Journal Impact Factor (JIF) for the Journal of Infusion Nursing (JIN) increased from 2022 to 2023 by 45% (JIFs for the previous year are announced late each summer.) The JIF reflects the yearly mean number of citations of articles published in the last two years in a given journal, as indexed by Clarivate’s Web of Science. JIN is one of only a few Wolters Kluwer journals whose JIF improved in 2023.
JIN publishes articles on the following topics:
- Best practices for vascular access device selection and placement
- Biologic and biosimilar therapies
- Antibiotic infusions, side effects, and anaphylaxis protocols
- Evidence-based interventions when caring for oncology or infusion therapy patients
- Infusion therapy in the home care setting
- Implanted ports
- Case studies
- Pharmaceutical use in infusion
Articles undergo a double-blind peer review. Final selections represent the broad scope of the infusion specialty and draw on the expertise of all health care providers who participate in the delivery of infusion therapy.
We appreciate all the authors who cite JIN in their scientific manuscripts, recognizing that INS sets the standard for infusion care. Thank you so much for your support!
