While many other sessions include considerations for the care of patients outside of acute care settings, these sessions are dedicated to alternative care and are being presented by experts in areas outside of the hospital. INS continues to expand resources and collaborations abroad to aid in initiatives aimed at improving infusion care. This track is designated to highlight contributions, initiatives, and collaborations with countries all over the world. These sessions highlight variances in regulations, challenges, resources, or new advancements experienced in countries outside the United States.
NEW! – Disease State Track
INS is excited to introduce this new track for 2025. It is designed to highlight disease states and how they pertain to infusion therapy. Infusion therapy is delivered to all patient types who may have multiple disease processes that influence the delivery of infusion care. These sessions will expand on key differences in infusion therapy as they pertain to specific disease states or conditions. Leading experts from these various disease specialties will discuss infusion medications, symptom management, and vascular access device considerations.
Attendees can also engage in new interactive Gaming Sessions and explore Quality Improvement (QI) projects, which includes efforts for advancing safety and excellence in infusion therapy across different health care settings.
